Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, pipe, air compressors, dosing pumps, blowers, instrumentation, among others
Maintain all ISO QC documentation from start to finish for all equipment being worked on
Perform analytical testing such as chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, Conductivity, Rejections, Recoveries, etc. Document and report all findings for approvals and be able to troubleshoot issues that are out of compliance
Identify and pull parts to be loaded on equipment for job start ups and identify returning equipment to be returned to inventory
Perform membrane cleanings and sluicing of media as needed
May be utilized to assist the plant maintenance or electrical departments for various plant projects and issues as needed
Delivers external customer satisfaction through on-time preparation; through continuous improvement initiatives and value-added projects that will ensure quality of equipment completed while considering cycle times
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to High School Diploma
Valid Driver's License
Basic Computer Skills
Use of hand and power tools
Preferred
2 years of experience in industrial, refineries, water treatment or chemical plants
Mechanical and electrical/instrumentation experience
Forklift experience
Basic PLC experience
PVC Pipe Fitting experience
