QTS NDT Inspection Specialist

Responsibilities
Conduct classroom and practical training in multiple methods/techniques
Perform internal QMS, Process and Radiation Safety audits
Interact with Engineering on new equipment design, acceptance
Evaluate equipment to meet industry requirements
Self-starter that can handle work assignments with work with minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an NDT Level II in MT, UTTG, PT and EMI
Familiarity with inspection of API 5B, 7-2 and/or proprietary threads
Familiarity with Used Drill Pipe and Bottom Hole Assembly
Willingness to pursue ASNT NDT Level III certification in MT, UT, PT, MFL and VT
High school diploma or GED required
Hold or willingness to obtain an auditing credential
Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to effectively train others
Approximately 25-30% domestic/foreign travel required
Experience with MS Office programs
Knowledge of Industry Standards such as API, ASNT, ASTM, DS-1 and NS-2
Preferred
Bi-lingual English-Spanish a plus
