Responsibilities
G-Tube Management: Routine feedings and medication administration via G-tube (placed since age 13)
Seizure Monitoring: While she has been seizure-free for four years, vigilant monitoring for epilepsy is required
Respiratory Support: Care related to restrictive lung disease; a backup ventilator is kept in-home for safety
Urological Care: Performance of straight catheterization several times daily (this is a core requirement of the role)
Positioning: Ensuring comfort and skin integrity related to scoliosis
Qualification
Required
Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Preferred
Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
