SkillBridge Field Engineer Program

Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI) offers the SkillBridge Field Engineer Program, which provides a hands-on opportunity for Active Duty Service Members to transition into the commercial construction industry. Participants will support construction projects by assisting with daily operations, field documentation, subcontractor coordination, and safety enforcement, while receiving on-the-job training and structured instruction.

Required

Must be an Active Duty Service member in the United States Military
Must be approved, or be able to attain approval, for a 60-90 day minimum SkillBridge opportunity
Demonstrate leadership, integrity, perseverance, reliability, respect, self-discipline, dedication, and dependability
Possesses organizational skills and is detail-oriented
Demonstrates personal motivation, initiative, and potential for growth
Can work independently with minimal supervision and limited direction
Shows an aptitude for management and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Limited knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs; specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
Effective and professional communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and others, whether individually or in a team environment, are vital aspects of the role
Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment guidelines, and company policies, are necessary for performing work safely and effectively
