Responsibilities
Submitting and managing insurance claims for ABA services
Working with CPT codes, modifiers, authorisations, and payer rules specific to behavioural health
Following up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
Resolving billing discrepancies with payers efficiently and accurately
Posting payments, reconciling EOBs, and tracking AR
Supporting month-end reporting and billing accuracy
Working closely with clinical and operations teams to prevent billing issues upstream
Qualification
Required
Proven healthcare billing experience in a clinic setting
Strong working knowledge of CPT codes, insurance portals, and payer requirements
Experience managing claims from submission through resolution
Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload
High attention to detail. This role touches revenue directly
Preferred
Direct experience with ABA or behavioural health billing preferred
Experience billing Medicaid and commercial plans
Familiarity with ABA-specific billing platforms or EMRs
Multi-state billing exposure
