Lead Youth Development Professional
Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains, Inc. is dedicated to inspiring and enabling young people to realize their full potential. The Lead Youth Development Professional will plan, organize, implement, supervise, and evaluate daily programs and activities for youth while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Must be able to provide leadership, on-the-spot and reflective feedback, and supervision to assigned Youth Development Professional/volunteers
Develop and organize daily programs and activities for youth that are engaging, educational, and promote positive development
Ensure programs align with the Club’s goals and meet the needs of all youth participants
Commitment to youth safety; to include adequate supervision of youth, as well as providing a safe and welcoming environment
Foster effective communication with parents, community and school
Assist with youth having behavioral challenges and support corrective methods and plans
Ensures an environment that facilitates cleanliness, attractiveness and safety of members, properties and equipment
Participate in training, special programs and/or events
Performs other duties as assigned
Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants, addressing any issues or conflicts that arise
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Commitment to working four days a week
Committed to working school year hours (M, T, TH, F: 3:00-6:00pm) (W: 2:30-6:00PM)
Commitment to working at the Club during the summer 25-35 hours. (Open M-F: 7:30-6:00PM)
Valid CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification within 90 days of employment
