Packaging Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

Develop the marketplace for products/Solutions (Textile- Plastics- Steel) in the US and grow our existing business in this area with the aim of achieving market leadership in line with company goals and strategies
Responsible for the Sales Revenues and the profitability of the dedicated area
Ensure that the customer's packaging requirements are translated into specific products and solutions
Manage project management activities, in close collaboration with Engineering and Customer Service teams to reach customers' expectations
Support marketing activities, needed to achieve the area's ambitions
Establish a solid network and strong business relations with existing and new customers (mainly OEMs and Tiers) in order to grow business in the local marketplace
In close collaboration with the project engineers and with the client, develop custom­ designed solutions to meet customers' packaging needs. His/her contribution will mainly be asked in the prototype phase
Generate proposals that deliver and provide profitable results for the organization
Coordinate activities with the technical/commercial back office located in the US or Mexico to ensure efficient project management and careful project planning
Ensure customers are communicated with on a regular basis and offered excellent support wherever needed
