Responsibilities
Responsible for guiding the technical design for data conversion to newly modernized systems
Responsible for coordinating the technical solutions among various technical support groups
Presentations of technical solutions to management and technical support areas
Responsible for implementing technical solutions
Guiding requirements gathering sessions
Guiding the analysis of requirements and system design work
Development of technical design documents and program specifications
Coding, unit and integration testing of programming assignments
Coordinate the migration of all code changes (programs, procedures, etc.) from development environment into user test environment
Writing and tuning SQL
Technical Support of user testing efforts. Performance tuning of new and existing applications
Production support tasks including analysis of issue, propose and implement solutions
Mentoring of less experienced staff would be required
Qualification
Required
84 months experience with a government organization, which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex systems
84 months of COBOL/ASSEMBLER/CICS programming experience in an IBM Mainframe Environment utilizing TSO
84 months of MVS JCL experience
84 months of IBM DB2/SQL experience for z/OS working with databases
60 months of experience in system analysis and design for multi tiered transactional systems and writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems
60 months of experience with IBM MQ Series
60 months of experience with CA-Intertest
