Responsibilities

Maintain and grow existing account base while acquiring new customers through cold calling and outreach efforts
Promote products and services to dealers, contractors, end-users, and other potential clients
Execute the IMPACT sales process: Investigate, Meet, Probe, Apply, Close, and Tie Up
High focus on training Robert Cialdini’s Persuasion, Influence, Reciprocity, and social proof
Attend client networking events (e.g., lunches, dinners, meetings) as needed to support relationship-building and sales growth
Resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally, escalating to management when necessary
Consistently strives to exceed sales goals and performance targets
Prepare and report on account status, sales results, and lead progress to management on a regular basis
Collaborate with the accounting team to help establish and manage customer credit limits
Arrive on time and prepared each day, demonstrating responsibility and commitment to job expectations
Work effectively within a team setting, both in the office and on the production floor

Required

0–2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial industry (not required)
Highly motivated, aggressive, and relentless in pursuit of goals
Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite, G-Suite, and CRM systems
Excellent customer service, communication, and cold-calling skills
Strong negotiation and persuasive selling abilities
Exceptional listening skills with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs
Goal-oriented with a proven ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
Able to create and maintain strong relationships with coworkers and the business development team
Willingness to travel occasionally for short durations as needed
Must work onsite in the office, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with overtime expected for top earners
You must be able to lift 50 lbs. and move around in large, noisy industrial settings
Must be able to see and hear (with or without correction)
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
