Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and investigating suspicious financial activity, including unusual money movement and potential market manipulation
Contribute to transaction monitoring, investigations, watchlist/sanctions screening and data analysis efforts that directly influence Baird’s adherence to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
Perform administrative duties and work on additional tasks/projects, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, criminology or other related areas
Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or later
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet specific deadlines
Attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with a drive for continuous improvement
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
