Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing
The University of North Carolina Wilmington is inviting applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the Marketing Department. The role involves teaching various marketing courses, conducting scholarly research, and providing service to the department and university.

Responsibilities
Demonstrate eligibility to teach assigned courses by successfully meeting the credentialing requirements based on official transcripts and other documentation as required
Conduct scholarly research activities that result in high-quality, peer-reviewed publications
Provide service to advance the mission of the department, school, university, and academy
Maintain a 3/2 teaching load
Shape the future of marketing professionals by envisioning new programs and embracing a growth mindset
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field from an AACSB accredited school. NOTE: Applicants with earned degrees will be given preference. ABD's will be considered; however, PHD must be conferred by August 1, 2026, to be eligible for employment
A minimum of three professional references are required for all applications. References will be requested during the screening process
Candidates selected for hire must be able to demonstrate eligibility to teach assigned courses by successfully meeting the credentialing requirements based on official transcripts and other documentation as required
Preferred
Experience teaching marketing courses such as Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing Analytics, Consumer Behavior, Professional Selling, Sales Management
Publishing scholarly research in peer-reviewed marketing journals
Demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics
Expertise in both face-to-face and online instruction
