Owning the technical roadmap and system architecture
Hiring and developing an engineering team that can execute
Making technology decisions that balance speed, cost, security, and compliance
Working closely with founders to turn business priorities into deliverable tech outcomes
Keeping the company compliant in a heavily regulated industry
Qualification
Required
Senior technical leadership background - you've been a CTO, VP/Head of Engineering, or similar
Deep understanding of system design, cloud infrastructure, and how to build for scale
Experience in regulated sectors (fintech, insurance, healthcare)
Ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to build and grow teams
Preferred
Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML or LLM-based solutions
Understanding of data platforms, MLOps, and responsible AI implementation
Strong cloud platform knowledge (AWS or GCP)
Familiarity with data privacy frameworks and compliance requirements
