Associate Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify leads, building a pipeline of new opportunities
Manage a set of smaller accounts independently, ensuring retention and growth
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to new prospects
Use Salesforce.com to document activities, manage pipeline, and forecast accurately
Assist RSMs in managing large and complex accounts, including joint visits and proposals
Build relationships with local influencers, including engineers, distributors, and consultants
Participate in trade shows, customer seminars, and events to represent Hach and gather market feedback
Qualification
Required
Education: BA/BS preferred, ideally in a science or technical field (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar)
Experience: 1–3 years of sales, customer service, or technical support experience. Internship or co-op experience in B2B/technical sales is an asset
Strong communication, customer engagement, and organizational abilities; motivated to learn and grow in a technical sales environment
Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems is advantageous
Ability to travel up to 40%. Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
