Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize prompts for LLMs (text, code, image, and data tasks)
Create reusable prompt templates for different business use cases
Experiment with prompt strategies (zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, role-based prompting)
Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, bias, tone, and business relevance
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate prompts into applications and workflows
Document prompt logic, versions, and performance results
Fine-tune model behavior using prompt engineering techniques and feedback loops
Develop guardrails and safety prompts to reduce hallucinations and errors
Support use cases such as chatbots, copilots, content generation, summarization, and data analysis
Qualification
Required
7-10 years of experience
Strong understanding of LLM behavior and transformer-based models
Experience with prompt design for text, code, and reasoning tasks
Knowledge of APIs for AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
Familiarity with Python or JavaScript for testing prompts
Experience with evaluation frameworks and A/B testing of prompts
Understanding of NLP concepts (tokenization, embeddings, temperature, top-p, etc.)
Ability to test, measure, and refine prompt performance
Strong logical thinking and structured problem-solving
Data-driven mindset for improving outputs
