A&T Technician III

Responsibilities
Perform water flow testing, pressure testing, leak checks, electrical testing, and flushing/cleanliness checks
Perform cable assembly, harnessing, crimping, soldering, welding, and connector installation
Use portable instruments to trouble shoot and repair
Operate gages, transducers, flow meters, force systems, data acquisition systems, mechanical measuring equipment, torque wrenches, etc
Read mechanical drawings and work to controlled documentation
Knowledge of mechanical/electro-mechanical and electronic component/circuits fabrication and repair techniques
Knowledge of the characteristics, properties, uses and safe handling of electricity, chemicals, gases and cryogenic fluids
General knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment
Perform duties in a shop and laboratory environment
Occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, or chemical processes requiring use of protective eyewear and PPE
This position requires full physical which includes bloodwork, Pulmonary Function testing, and fit test
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
At least 3 years of relevant experience
