InternCentral Bank is seeking a Collections Intern to support the Collections Department. This role involves assisting with account research, payment tracking, customer outreach, and various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist with collecting outstanding payments through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence
Research account statuses, verify balances, and document all communication in the company’s system
Support the team in monitoring aging reports and identifying delinquent accounts
Prepare and organize documentation related to customer accounts, payment plans, and disputes
Help process payments and update account records accurately
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with customers
Assist in special projects and provide administrative support as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or recent graduate)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Detail oriented with solid organizational abilities
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Comfortable handling phone calls and engaging with customers
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Preferred
Experience with accounting or CRM software
Knowledge of billing processes or credit/collections procedures
Analytical skills for reviewing account data and identifying discrepancies
