Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes using Mastercam
Work with Fanuc and Yaskawa controls
Select proper tooling, fixturing, and workholding
Perform first article inspections and obtain quality approval
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming challenges
Maintain accurate setup documentation and process sheets
Use precision measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy
Keep production on schedule without sacrificing quality
Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Qualification
Required
MUST BE A U.S Citizen
MUST LIVE IN CONNECTICUT
3+ years of CNC Lathe setup & operation experience
Strong G-code programming knowledge
Solid understanding of GD&T
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience machining aluminum, steel, stainless, and plastics
Strong shop math, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Team-oriented with clear communication skills
Familiarity with Fanuc and Yaskawa platforms
Positive, 'can-do' attitude — we want pros who take pride in their work
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
