Responsibilities
Lead multiple, concurrent compliance initiatives across Compliance, Security, Privacy, and Operations
Own audit readiness and due diligence end-to-end, including external requests from regulators, carriers, and partners
Build and manage procurement and vendor compliance workflows, including intake, risk review, and contract coordination
Support contract review and redlining in partnership with Legal and outside counsel
Evaluate, implement, and maintain a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
Establish and maintain a regulatory monitoring program, translating requirements into clear internal guidance
Maintain the compliance policy and SOP repository, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
Partner with leadership on special projects and emerging programs (e.g., AI governance, change management)
Potentially lead and develop compliance team members as the function scales
Qualification
Required
5+ years of compliance experience working in insurance or another highly regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, fintech, payments, etc.)
Direct experience owning compliance operations, not just advising
Experience with audits, regulatory exams, or due diligence
Comfort reviewing and coordinating contracts, procurement, and third-party risk
Strong project management and cross-functional execution skills
Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
