Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor computer systems and devices for acquisition and analysis of data
Management of computer media via automated processing systems to ensure accurate and timely disposition of deliveries
Respond to data processing problems or corrective procedures, referring problems without pre-planned procedures to higher-level specialists
Utilize generic office organizational skills and general knowledge of Combat Systems shipboard library organization and requirements
Train energetic team members on Navy library CM concepts and tools
Qualification
Required
Requires at least one (1) year of experience managing, shipping, and/or receiving unclassified computer media and/or documentation
High School Diploma required; Bachelors Degree desired
Experience troubleshooting and resolving media errors and data processing problems
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
