Director of Sales & Marketing
Vantage Plastics is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to serve as a key member of our executive leadership team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing corporate sales and marketing strategies, and building a high-performing sales organization aligned with our mission and values.

Responsibilities
Provide executive oversight of marketing strategy, demand generation, brand positioning, and sales enablement aligned to sales vertical goals
Own and deliver annual revenue, margin, and growth targets by business unit and sales vertical, including Vantage Plastics, Lotis Technologies, and VanRove
Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans by vertical, including target accounts, pipeline goals, and forecasting discipline
Drive new business acquisition while maintaining and expanding strategic customer relationships
Develop and execute customer, market, and end-use diversification strategies to reduce revenue concentration risk and strengthen long-term stability
Oversee development and execution of marketing strategies supporting sales growth, lead generation, and customer acquisition
Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts, including messaging, value propositions, trade show strategy, and customer-facing materials
Provide strategic direction for brand management, market positioning, and promotional activities
Review and evaluate marketing performance metrics to ensure effectiveness and ROI
Work individually with sales team members to establish goals and business plans
Lead bi-weekly EOS Level-10 'Traction' meetings with the sales team
Plan, develop, and execute a sales strategy leveraging market knowledge and value-based positioning
Motivate, develop, and grow the sales team while cultivating a performance-based culture
Oversee CRM usage, pipeline discipline, activity expectations, and opportunity management
Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline visibility for leadership
Lead recruiting, selection, onboarding, and ramp plans for sales representatives
Evaluate and implement geographic expansion strategies, territory design, and coverage models
Personally lead strategic sales opportunities as a player-coach
Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key prospective customers and organizational leaders
Lead client engagement and operational discovery to integrate solutions into customer workflows
Coach sellers through complex consultative sales cycles and ensure adherence to sales processes
Provide business development and thought leadership through opportunity identification and capability growth
Ensure sales and customer support teams are trained in product knowledge, technology, and pricing discipline
Initiate and enforce pricing strategy to support long-term profitability and market positioning
Support financial justification for new product or capability investments
Prepare periodic sales reports covering volume, pipeline health, expansion opportunities, and market trends
Lead staffing, training, and performance evaluations across the sales organization
Travel up to 33% as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing, retail, and/or OEM environment with demonstrated sales growth success
Minimum 10 years of experience leading a sales team with direct accountability for results and performance management
Minimum 5 years of experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated experience in organizational development and restructuring during growth phases
Preferred
Extensive experience in the plastics industry preferred, with a strong technical or engineering mindset
