Responsibilities
Designing, automating, and maintaining cloud configuration, release, and infrastructure management processes across GTA’s AWS environments
Ensures highly available, secure, compliant, and well-governed cloud platforms through effective automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), patch management, backup strategy, and certificate governance
Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to support stable, reliable statewide services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent professional training, certification, or experience
Eight (8) years of configuration management experience
Proficiency with Terraform and IaC methodologies
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)
Experience with cloud backup solutions and automated patching
Expertise in SSL/TLS certificate management and security best practices
Preferred
Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation within AWS/Terraform
AWS Certification(s) and/or Terraform Certification
Experience working with state or local government environments
Experience with vendor oversight or management
Experience with project management or Agile delivery tools
Experience with organizational change management (OCM)
