Human Resources Legal Manager
LHH is representing a highly respected mid-sized law firm in Dallas that is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to lead all aspects of human resources. This role involves serving as the primary HR contact, managing recruiting and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while fostering a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for the entire firm
Handle employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and policy adherence
Support ongoing culture-building and engagement
Manage full-cycle recruiting for administrative, support, and HR roles
Partner with leadership during interview processes
Build structured onboarding experiences
Create and deliver training for staff and attorneys
Support manager development and contribute to process improvements
Maintain policies, employee handbook, and HR documentation
Oversee benefits, PTO, and HR processes
Ensure compliance with employment laws
Work closely with the Firm Administrator (who currently handles finance & admin)
Coordinate with the Executive Committee during hiring processes
Provide HR insights as the firm continues to grow
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years of HR Manager experience with ideally 2+ years in a Law Firm
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to partner with attorneys and staff
Experience in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR policy
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
SHRM CP/PHR a plus
