Mid LeveleTeam is focused on modernizing life insurance systems, and they are seeking a Life Insurance Systems Analyst to support this initiative. The role involves creating and validating Excel-based tools for product configuration and ensuring the accuracy of the new policy administration system.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Create Excel-based tools to support product configuration and lifecycle analysis for Retail Life products
Ensure the new policy administration system produces accurate values throughout the policy lifecycle (Universal Life and Whole Life products)
Work closely with the Automation Development team to integrate features and ensure seamless interaction with testing tools
Improve tool efficiency, usability, and performance
Provide clear findings and documentation across the team to support modernization efforts
Qualification
Required
Life Insurance Expertise: Extensive knowledge of product functionality, components, and how money/taxes interact
Advanced Excel: Strong modeling skills, including mastery of formulas and VLOOKUP
Regulatory Knowledge: General understanding of IRC Sections 7702 and 7702A
Communication: Ability to clearly explain tasks and report findings on calls with the SCRUM team
Preferred
Experience with Excel VBA
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Working knowledge of QA review and testing processes, including designing test scenarios and understanding testing techniques/tools
