Carvana, through its subsidiary ADESA, operates over 50 locations across the US, providing a wide array of vehicle services. The General Sales Manager will lead a sales team, generate new business, and execute the overall sales strategy to drive growth and success.

Lead by example: manage and develop the sales team
Generate new business leads and close deals
Effectively execute and lead ADESA’s Dealer Sales strategy
Influence and lead others as a people, customer, and business manager
Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner
Demonstrate knowledge of products and services
Maximize technology
Qualification
Required
High School or GED required; College education preferred
Two or more years of supervisory experience; automotive industry experience preferred
Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possesses a valid driver's license
5+ years of people management experience
7+ years of customer service experience
5+ years of sales
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
Preferred
Automotive/auction experience preferred
CRM experience preferred
College degree preferred
