Responsibilities
Preparing monthly financial statements inclusive of journal entries, resolving issues, and reviewing results
Communicating with key stakeholders to collect input and adjustments needed for the preparation, and accuracy of the monthly financial close and periodic forecast
Monthly account reconciliation, variance analysis, and flux analysis
Leading the process for internal & external audits
Due diligence and acquisition integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication skills – oral and written
Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems
Preferred
Knowledge of utility accounting
