The role involves mechanical engineering leadership across critical water, wastewater, and utility systems that support advanced semiconductor operations.

Responsibilities
Lead mechanical engineering design development for a new-build semiconductor facility, including ultra-pure water (UPW), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), zero liquid discharge (ZLD), and utility systems
Develop, review, and approve mechanical layouts and equipment arrangement drawings
Produce and review piping design packages, including isometrics and pipe specifications
Lead equipment selection and prepare technical data sheets for pumps, valves, blowers, tanks, filters, heat exchangers, skids, and related systems
Define material selection, corrosion allowances, and mechanical design criteria
Provide technical oversight during procurement, vendor evaluation, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
Collaborate closely with process, electrical, I&C, civil, and structural teams to ensure coordinated and constructible designs
Support project execution through design reviews, field support, and resolution of technical issues
Contribute to schedule alignment, quality assurance, and engineering deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Eight or more years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial or EPC project environments
Proven experience designing mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities
Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or similarly complex industrial facilities
Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and industry best practices
Ability to act as a technical lead within a multidisciplinary engineering team
