The Environmental Compliance Internship provides students with hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, where they will contribute to ensuring EDL’s operations meet regulatory and environmental standards.

Responsibilities
Support with maintaining recordkeeping and emission tracking
Assist with organizing documentation for permits, inspections and compliance review
Help gather data for environmental reports and audits
Assist with waste and spill tracking and reporting
Participate in site visits to observe equipment, operations and environmental controls
Explore relevant regulatory laws to understand compliance obligations and emerging requirements
Participate in additional environmental and sustainability initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to environmental science, engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
Previous internship or work experience in environmental compliance or sustainability
Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards
Experience with data analysis and reporting
