Responsibilities
Seeking a strong Accountant out of public accounting from a national or larger regional CPA firm
Main responsibilities will include driving the month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and internal financial reporting
Manage cash flows, reconciling cash and investments
Assist with preparation of footnotes, audit schedules, reports, supporting schedules, and ad hoc analysis
Assist in the preparation of financial statements to assess the company performance and develop dashboards of key metrics
Strong communication and presentation skills would be necessary because it has high level of exposure and would be on fast track for promotion
Qualification
Required
Senior Accountant - Public Accounting experience required
At least 3 years public accounting and/or operating at a Senior level OR acting Senior
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related from 4 year accredited university with a strong GPA
At least 3+ years of experience of public accounting or at minimum on track for CPA license
Advanced Excel, ability to multi-task on concurrent projects, time management and prioritization
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills
Preferred
CPA ideal or on track
