Responsibilities
Assist with the development and organization of training documents
Learn the intricacies of patient access processes and procedures
Observe and contribute to initiatives focused on resolving Patient Access workflow challenges
Assist with patient billing inquiries
Support medical coding, billing and reimbursement processes
Work closely with a Certified Professional Coder
Gain practical experience in healthcare revenue cycle
Assist with special projects within the team and department
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
One year completion of college and currently enrolled at a college or university
Time-management skills
A keen interest in learning about healthcare administration
Ability to work remotely or on-site
A proactive attitude
Detail oriented
Professional and ethical demeanor
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Call center experience
