The Technical Product Owner is responsible for ensuring systems and processes support legislative tracking and team interactions with elected officials, partnering across departments to refine tools and processes that align with business strategies.

Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to create clear, actionable user stories that translate high level goals into developer-ready features and workflows
Translate high-level goals into features and workflows developers can execute
Maintain and prioritize a product backlog that balances immediate needs with long-term strategy and user experience
Evaluate and communicate features trade-offs, ensuring decisions align with strategic goals such as improved knowledge processes, data quality, compliance, and platform adoption
Anticipate downstream impacts of platform changes on workflows, analytics, governance, and user behavior, and coordinate across capabilities to ensure technical alignment and scalable solutions
Collaborate with internal training teams to ensure staff can effectively use and maintain technical tools
Coordinate for technical alignment. Partner with capabilities across the Stand Together community to ensure technical feasibility, prevent negative ripple effects, and align on scalable solutions
Communicate with clarity and respect. Explain product decisions and trade-offs to staff at all levels, tailoring the message to the audience and maintaining alignment
Communicate decisions clearly, engage feedback constructively, and keep teams aligned through consistent updates
Work closely with partners across Government Affairs, Policy, State Operations, and Political to ensure a unified vision, clear SOPs, and consistent expectations
Qualification
Required
Experience managing projects, gathering requirements, and working with cross-functional teams
Vision development and the ability to partner across multiple teams with varied interests and goals
Adaptable problem-solving experience and technical curiosity
Empathetic communication and openness to new ideas and feedback
Strategic thinking
Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude
Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect
Preferred
Strong knowledge of i360 and its role in advocacy
Strong knowledge of Quorum and AirTable
Background in grassroots or political advocacy, product support, and/or platform implementation
