The primary responsibilities include assisting in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, supporting the development of data warehouses, and collaborating with data analysts to understand data requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sources
Support the development and optimization of data warehouses and data lakes
Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, reporting, and analysis
Collaborate with data analysts and BI Developers to understand data requirements
Monitor data quality and help troubleshoot pipeline failures or data inconsistencies
Document data workflows, schemas, and engineering best practices
Participate in code reviews and team stand-ups

Required

Basic proficiency in SQL
Understanding of fundamental data concepts (databases, schemas, data modeling)

Familiarity with data pipeline tools
Knowledge of version control tools (Git)
Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI)
