Responsibilities

Programming Direct Digital Controllers (DDC) and commissioning systems
Performing Point-to-Point verification, troubleshooting, and validating DDC network communications
Assisting in the design of graphical user interfaces within project and budget guidelines
Inspecting and validating systems, supporting panel builds, and performing system commissioning
Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and DDC controls drawings
Attending site meetings and providing daily updates to the Project Manager
Working with systems built on the Tridium Niagara Platform (MS/TP and BACnet/IP) and Distech LonWorks controllers
Develop databases for supported systems based on sequences of operation, manufacturer recommendations, and company standards
Calibrate and check out control systems to ensure commissioning requirements are met
Collaborate with the graphics team to deliver project-specific user interfaces
Provide customer support for system operation and maintenance
Supply feedback to the Controls Engineer for accurate as-built documentation
Manage workload to meet deadlines and budget expectations

Required

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Strong DDC and system programming skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
Knowledge of DDC control theory and applications
Ability to work independently and interface effectively with internal teams, clients, engineers, and property managers
ACAD and Visio proficiency
Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record

Preferred

2+ in the Building Automation industry
HVAC or mechanical systems background
Training or certification in electrical theory or electronics
Experience with Tridium Niagara and Distech systems
Computer and networking skills
