Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize embedded software and firmware for complex hardware systems using languages such as C, C++, Python, and Assembly language
Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop PCB layouts, soldering techniques, and hardware-software integration strategies
Implement and maintain APIs including RESTful APIs, JSON interfaces, and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Zigbee, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi (WAN)
Develop algorithms for signal processing, machine learning applications, and data analysis utilizing MATLAB, Simulink, and big data tools
Conduct debugging, unit testing, system testing, and software troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables
Lead efforts in software quality assurance using tools like Jenkins, SVN, GitHub, and Jira while adhering to Agile methodologies
Develop content for documentation platforms such as Confluence and UML diagrams to support project clarity and team collaboration
Support system security through encryption techniques and network monitoring practices
Participate in the integration of embedded systems with cloud services like AWS or Microsoft SQL Server for data management
Engage in continuous learning of emerging technologies such as quantum engineering, IoT frameworks (e.g., Raspberry Pi), and advanced OS kernels
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of 5+ years in embedded software development within industries such as telecommunications, IoT devices, or aerospace
Extensive hands-on experience with FPGA design and programming; familiarity with Android OS development is a plus
Strong knowledge of PCB design principles, soldering techniques, sensors integration, and hardware debugging
Proficiency in programming languages including C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Perl, Visual Basic, VBA, HTML/CSS for UI development
Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP), VoIP systems, Signal processing algorithms, and system security measures
Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, MATLAB/Simulink; version control systems like Git or SVN
Excellent analysis skills complemented by a strong understanding of operating systems (Linux/Unix), application development frameworks (.NET), and cloud platforms (AWS)
Preferred
Familiarity with Android OS development
Background in algorithm design for real-time processing applications involving machine learning or quantum computing concepts
