Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams including EHS, quality, engineering, planning, and materials to support operational initiatives, achieve strategic business objectives, and support constant improvement site-wide
Understand and strictly adhere to appropriate technical references such as Test Plans and Procedures, Equipment Operating Procedures, Quality Control Documents, Maintenance Manuals, Shop Manuals, etc
Ability to use mechanical and electrical ingenuity and make decisions in a fast-paced environment in a safe, effective and efficient manner

Required

Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or High School Diploma / GED with at least 3 years of testing experience

Preferred

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology
Familiarity with electrical power systems for commercial/military aircraft
Experience with data-acquisition systems and instrumentation such as voltage, current, temperature, pressure, flow, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical/mechanical schematics
Experience building electronic test equipment and wiring harnesses
Effective oral and written communication skills
Able to collaborate with Engineering, EHS, and Quality teams on test setups, test execution, and troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team or independently when required
