Responsibilities
Architecting integration solutions
Performing installation, configuration, and day-to-day tasks associated with secure file transfers
Providing technical leadership and overall service delivery for applications hosted by the IT Service Delivery team
Installation, configuration, maintenance and overall technical support of the MFT offerings
Providing support for server appliances and platform-specific hardware solutions
Responding to Infrastructure Monitoring (server/performance alerts)
Troubleshooting and resolving application supports teams’ problems
Providing tier 2 support for incident resolution and service request processes for technical problems and IT issues
Collaborating with Tier 3 support team and managing to handle the issues
Performing risk assessments for the application(s)
Reviewing documentation and reports, and conferring with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements
Providing technical expertise in the planning, engineering, design, implementation and support of data management and integration system infrastructures and technologies
Identifying and reporting complex data management and integration system issues to Tier 3 support team
Monitoring responsibilities, ensuring all system components have appropriate alerts in place
Performance measurement, tuning and reporting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Axway Secure Transport and Axway Sentinel MFT
Strong understanding of Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
Ability to architect solutions customized to specific business needs
Creation of agencies utilizing multiple protocols (e.g. FTP, SFTP, AS2)
Multiple OS experience (e.g. Windows, Linux, AIX etc)
Experience and good troubleshooting skills in Axway Secure Transport and Axway Sentinel MFT
Provide support for server appliances and platform-specific hardware solutions
Respond to Infrastructure Monitoring (server/performance alerts)
Troubleshoot and resolve application supports teams' problems
Provide tier 2 support for incident resolution and service request processes for technical problems and IT issues, involving the file transfer applications and environments
Collaborate with Tier 3 support team and manage to handle the issues
Performs risk assessments for the application(s), and represents these to IT Management
Review documentation and reports, and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements
Provide technical expertise in the planning, engineering, design, implementation and support of data management and integration system infrastructures and technologies. This includes the systems operational procedures and processes
Identifies and report complex data management and integration system issues to Tier 3 support team utilizing product knowledge and structured troubleshooting tools and techniques
