Configuration Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Reviewed data from multiple sources and determined relevant information to a given si Review data from multiple sources; determine relevance; draft, edit, and disseminate factual, timely reports and status updates
Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data; plan, develop, implement, maintain, and enhance security programs, policies, procedures, and tools
Maintain certification/accreditation documentation; manage information assurance vulnerability assessment program; conduct security audits and risk/vulnerability assessments
Participate in network/systems design; implement security policies; develop contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures
Manage information system accounts, network rights, and access for servers, workstations, and devices using industry tools
Evaluate database management technologies; investigate problems and inefficiencies; assess impacts of new/revised software on operations and applications
Use DBMS tools to analyze storage consumption, access times, read/write frequencies; run utilities; investigate performance declines; recommend procedures for rapid data access
Analyze archived data usage; optimize existing systems; implement database conversions for new release requirements
Provide, maintain, and manage end‑user accounts and profiles; establish, delete, change, suspend, and resolve account inquiries
Apply patches, execute field‑engineering notices, verify checksums, and resolve database problems
Identify substantive issues; analyze and develop alternatives; recommend changes to senior Joint Trauma System leadership for the DoD Trauma Registry
Work primarily in an office setting with varied interactions; meet physical demands typical of office work
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience and certifications
Experience with database programming and analysis; Windows and Linux OS; Kibana; SQL\Plus; PL/SQL Developer; TOAD; Visual Studio applications
Programming experience in Visual Studio .NET and C#; systems analysis and database application programming highly desirable
Ability to maintain required certifications through DoD 8570.1 Continuing Education; comply with applicable Army/Navy training regulations when working on respective servers
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills; ability to manage accounts, security, and performance in established DB environments
As requested by our government client, this position requires US citizenship
Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
