Accounts Payable Associate
Nextera Search is an Asset Management Firm based in Greenwich, CT, seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Accounts Payable Associate. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports while supporting payroll processing and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently and on schedule
Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Support payroll processing while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Track and monitor expenses to maintain alignment with the approved budget
Manage office supply inventory and coordinate timely reorders
Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders as needed
Provide general administrative support to the team
Qualification
Required
2–6 years of accounts payable experience required
Must reside in Connecticut or within close commuting distance
Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a comparable role
Proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Background in any industry acceptable; experience in Financial Services is strongly preferred
