Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and distribute monthly customer invoices and reports with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Engage directly with customers to ensure timely payments, resolve billing questions, and strengthen client relationships
Collaborate with employees and leadership across the organization to clarify accounting procedures support audits, and promote consistent financial practices
Complete assigned journal entries and maintain clear, organized supporting documentation
Perform account reconciliations and provide detailed support schedules to ensure financial integrity
Develop and maintain management reports, primarily using Excel and other analytical tools, to support decision‑making and operational insights
Participate actively in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, contributing ideas and helping implement solutions that streamline accounting and reporting workflows
Build strong subject‑matter knowledge in wholesale electricity markets, energy trading activities, and TPS’s energy management business
Maintain reliable consistent attendance and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment

Qualification

AccountingExcelPower industry experienceMicrosoft Power BIAnalytical mindsetVerbal communicationDetail oriented

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Zero to two (0-2) years of accounting experience
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Detail oriented, analytical mindset, and a questioning attitude
Strong verbal communication and mathematical skills

Preferred

Master's Degree and/or CPA
Power industry experience
Microsoft Power BI experience
