Responsibilities
Review test results like microbial, heavy metals, physical and analytical obtained from 3rd party laboratories to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support product releases based on CoA results
Lead stability studies and shelf life testing program. Work with contract manufacturers and labs to prepare samples, draft protocols and coordinate testing plans
Maintain quality records to ensure doc control and up-to-date revisions are documented and meet FDA requirements
Write and maintain SOPs for internal and external compliance
Assist in maintaining R&D library for raw materials, specifications and certifications
Assist in OOS investigations, root cause analysis, deviations to provide resolution in a timely manner
Define defect and defect rates and provide solutions to minimize. Maintain retains and review product retains to ensure product standards are met
Track and report quality key performance initiatives and present risks to leadership
Manage product level certification programs with internal and external teams
Maintain raw material and manufacturer certifications to ensure compliance with claims
Maintain effective communication with contract manufacturers to ensure accountability of Cymbiotika’s timing and quality requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to support Amazon, TikTok, CX questions and International markets
Serve as a quality partner to regulatory and product development
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of Quality experience in dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, or food
Expertise in FDA cGMPs (21 CFR 111) and supplement QUALITY and regulatory requirements
Strong Experience in managing CMOs, suppliers, and third-party labs
Strong judgment, speed, flexibility and autonomy for operating in ambiguity
May assist in maintenance of R&D lab - manage samples, retails and organization
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Food science degree
Knowledge of product development, sensory and organoleptics of liquid formulations
Experience in helping out in a R&D lab with ingredients, retains and product samples
