Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans and scripts for all types of performance testing (load, stress, soak/endurance, spike, volume, etc.) utilizing Jmeter, K6, or similar
Identify performance bottlenecks and provide data to support those findings utilizing test reports, error logs, monitoring tools and more. (new relic, aws, cloudwatch)
Analyze results, generate reports and create custom reporting dashboards
Collaborate with dev teams to integrate performance testing into the release pipeline utilizing github actions
Maintain and troubleshoot performance test environments and performance test data
Continuously improve performance testing processes and methodologies
Qualification
Required
At least 5-7 years of experience in a test engineering role with at least 3+ years of hands-on performance testing experience
Proven track record of success (with real-world examples)
Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6 or similar
Experience analyzing error logs (e.g., CloudWatch or similar tools)
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, AWS)
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Preferred
Hands on performance testing experience in accordance with best standards and practices
