Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day operations of the office
Leading the office in the Director’s absence
Serving as a resource for senior administration, chairs, department support staff and faculty members on policies, faculty rules and regulations, promotion, tenure, benefits, retirement, and all areas pertaining to faculty development and affairs on the health science campus
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required or will accept ten (10) years of applicable experience in lieu of higher education
Five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative and/or business experience required
Interpersonal skills which reflect a positive work environment
Ability to work with large amounts of complex data with accuracy and confidentiality
Proficient in use of MS Office Suite products
Strong analytical, application and critical thinking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Professional integrity and reliability
Preferred
Preferred areas of study include but not limited to: Business Administration, Communications, Management, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration
General HR Experience Preferred
Knowledge of UT systems preferred
