Responsibilities
Apply advanced knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, economics, and capital markets to support sales and transaction execution
Build, refine, and interpret financial models to assess credit trends, performance metrics, and transaction viability
Conduct comprehensive due diligence including credit research, ratings analysis, and peer comparisons
Independently prepare pitch materials, market updates, and client presentations tailored to institutional needs
Maintain and enhance CRM systems (e.g., IRIS, FI Client Portal), ensuring accurate prospect profiles and sales tracking
Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities across institutional and One Bank client relationships
Demonstrate proficiency in Bloomberg, Clearwater Analytics, and other financial platforms to support sales and research activities
Represent the department at industry events, trade shows, and client forums, contributing to brand visibility and relationship development
Collaborate with sales professionals and deal teams to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Mentor Analyst I team members, providing guidance and support in developing technical and client-facing skills
Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
1–3 years of relevant experience in institutional sales, fixed income, or capital markets
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63 licenses
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to synthesize financial data and market trends
Strong command of financial modeling and valuation techniques
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Familiarity with financial databases and platforms such as Bloomberg, Clearwater Analytics, or Capital IQ
Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses in accordance with company policy
