Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities
Define and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint for Oracle Health Millennium, RevElate, and integrated clinical and financial systems
Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks focused on interoperability, security, and performance
Drive cloud adoption strategy and OCI architecture alignment, including networking, identity, and compliance requirements
Ensure architectural decisions support scalability, resiliency, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST)
Chair architecture review boards and provide governance across all technical workstreams
Deliver executive-level guidance on integration patterns (HL7 v2, FHIR, APIs), infrastructure, and application interoperability
Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges and risk mitigation
Partner with program leadership to align technical roadmaps with business objectives and delivery milestones
Oversee environment strategy (DEV through PROD), release management, and technical readiness for cutover and go-live
Ensure robust testing strategies, performance validation, and operational resilience
Act as a trusted advisor to client CIOs, CTOs, and senior executives on technology strategy and architecture decisions
Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions while clearly communicating trade-offs
Influence alignment across vendors and partners, including Oracle, interface engine providers, and cloud teams
Identify and promote emerging technologies and patterns such as event-driven architectures, API-first design, and identity federation
Contribute to practice development through reusable frameworks, accelerators, and architectural best practices
Qualification
Required
12+ years of healthcare technology leadership experience, including enterprise architecture roles on large-scale EHR programs
Deep expertise with Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium and RevElate)
Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Proven experience defining and governing complex integration strategies using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and modern interoperability standards
Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management
Demonstrated success engaging executive stakeholders and leading program-level technical governance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience supporting federal healthcare programs or large, multi-entity health systems
Background in revenue cycle transformation and financial system integration
Certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or cloud certifications (OCI, AWS, Azure)
Recognized thought leadership in healthcare interoperability or digital health innovation
