Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, & settlement agreements (Answers, Third-Party Complaints, Cross/Counterclaims, discovery (requests and responses), motions to compel, motions for summary judgment, subpoenas for deposition, etc.)
Review, analyze, and summarize discovery and conduct fact investigations for file management and drafting updates to clients
Communicate with clients, opposing parties, experts, and non-parties
Prepare clients for, defend, and take depositions
Prepare for, attend, and participate in Mediations
Conduct Legal Research on variety of issues relevant to case(s)
Qualification
Required
Licensed to practice in Georgia
2-4 years of civil litigation experience
Polished and a skilled communicator
Self-starter, can prioritize workload and have a strong work ethic
