Responsibilities
Recruit, train, develop, and supervise on-site staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and performance expectations
Oversee daily property operations, ensuring financial goals are met by managing budgets, revenue, and expenditures
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Fair Housing, landlord-tenant laws, and company policies
Oversee risk management, including preventative maintenance, insurance compliance, and capital improvement recommendations
Uphold company values and culture and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of property management or related experience with a strong track record of success
At least 3 years of on-site multifamily property management experience with ownership-level responsibilities for the resident rental lifecycle across 5+ properties or equivalent experience
Proven experience managing A to A+ class high-rise or mid-rise properties or comparable luxury residential communities
3+ years of team management or supervisory experience, preferably in an on-site property management setting
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; an advanced degree in real estate, property management, or a related field is a plus
Must maintain a valid driver's license, an operational vehicle for travel between properties, and valid automobile insurance at all times
Local/Regional Travel regularly to various properties in Houston, TX
Must be able to sit, stand, climb, stoop, and remain at a desk for up to 8 hours or more if needed
Must be able to walk the property for up to 8 hours (or more) in various weather conditions
Must have the ability to climb stairs for purposes of showing properties to prospective tenants
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CPM, CAPS, CAM, or equivalent are preferred
