Model and analyze our transmission network to evaluate market congestion
Perform market congestion and power flow studies
Assess limitations on our system
Develop cost-effective short- and long-term transmission system plans
Confirm the need for projects
Refine project scopes
Ensure development of appropriate alternatives, schedules, and cost estimates
Support teams at ATC as well as our customers and MISO
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Knowledge of power systems
Ability to perform market congestion and power flow studies
Ability to assess limitations on the system
Ability to develop cost-effective short- and long-term transmission system plans
Ability to use data to anticipate performance of the future system
