Responsibilities
Maintain extensive verbal and written communication with stakeholders, Project Managers, technicians, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle
Provide technical support to the SUA Project Manager, including presenting plans and answering customer questions
Identify potential issues that could affect quality, cost, or timeframe and recommend solutions to mitigate impact
Promote and foster a positive culture and environment within the training support team
Collaborate with the SUA PM to assess the implications of various strategies
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen and willing and able to obtain DoD Secret-level clearance
Must be capable of obtaining an acceptable adjudication of DoD Secret (T3) Clearance within 18 months of initial employment date
Complete standard form SF86 questionnaire and fingerprinting for national security positions
Must obtain either a CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification within first 12 months of employment
3+ years of hands-on experience with Motorola ASTRO technology, including Zone Core, ASTRO Networking, Microsoft Active Directory, McAfee security suite, MCC7500 dispatch, and NICE Logging
Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail
Demonstrated experience leading a team of technologists
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities with varying priorities, shifting focus with minimal loss of productivity or work quality
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
5+ years of experience in one of the following: LMR, RF Systems, Radio Frequency, Radio Communications, System Administration, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Networking Equipment, IT, IT Systems, Zone Core, ASTRO Networking, Microsoft Active Directory, McAfee Security Suite, MCC7500 Dispatch, NICE Logging, E911, Dispatch, Telecommunications, Public Safety, Engineering, Networking equipment or Military experience
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by our government contracts
