Event Registration and Technology Coordinator

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of the registration process for events, ensuring accuracy of attendee information, managing registration deadlines, and troubleshooting any issues that arise
Independently execute daily tasks including but not limited to attendee data entry (profile updates, hotel requests, session attendance), quality-checking of lists, as well as set-up and running of reports, utilizing multi-tasking ability
Communicate effectively with attendees via email, phone, and in-person to provide event details, answer questions, and help with registration
Build registration websites for corporate clients and perform comprehensive quality control testing to ensure compliance with all specifications, including batching and implementing all required edits. Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure proper registration equipment is in place, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure a smooth registration process on-site
Work with the registration team to develop and implement strategies to streamline the registration process for future events
Support clients on best practices and inquiries

Required

Self-motivated, organized individual with interest in event registration and a passion for creating memorable experiences for attendees
Team player that requires minimal supervision, demonstrating time management and multi-tasking skills
Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
Eagerness to learn & grow own capabilities
Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at once in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional Customer Service skills to exceed both client and attendee expectations
Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken with excellent proofreading skills
Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel as business demands
Adaptable and willing to support the team as unexpected tasks arise

Preferred

Knowledge of event registration software systems is a plus
Strong excel and data skills (VLOOKUP, pivot table, etc)
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
General aptitude for technology and web design
