Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Professional Land Surveyor, the Senior Survey Technician participates in, coordinates, and provides direction to junior survey staff to ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with professional surveying standards, established budgets, and project schedules
Daily responsibilities include performing CAD tasks and processing or reviewing field data with precision and efficiency
This position contributes to the development of a cohesive and capable survey team and promotes effective collaboration with internal disciplines and external client partners

Required

Minimum of 6 years of relevant surveying experience
Proficiency with AutoDesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and Trimble data processing software
Experience performing construction, boundary, topographic, retracement, route and ALTA surveys across municipal, DOT, energy, and renewable projects
Demonstrated ability to operate survey field equipment, including GPS, robotic total stations, and data controllers
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Authorization to work permanently in the United States
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement

Preferred

Associate of Science degree in Surveying or equivalent
Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification or Certified Survey Technician (CST)
Experience with remote sensing technologies (Aerial & Terrestrial LiDAR, Photogrammetry)
