Responsibilities
Lead the outpatient epilepsy services
Provide outpatient consultation and longitudinal care for patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions
Partner effectively with the functional neurosurgeon and lead a team to evaluate patients for surgery
Achieve NAEC epilepsy center certification
Participate in general neurology practice and grow an epilepsy-focused subspecialty practice
Engage in opportunities for research, teaching, and leadership involvement
Qualification
Required
Fellowship training in Epilepsy
Minimum of five years of post-graduate experience in outpatient epilepsy management and EEG interpretation
Prior involvement in an epilepsy surgery program
Skills to partner effectively with a functional neurosurgeon
Ability to lead a team to evaluate patients for surgery
Achieve NAEC epilepsy center certification
